Loved reading your take on this region! I’d always heard about it but didn’t know much about it.
I found very interesting how you talked about this type of tourism being viable for ex mining communities. In Honduras there are several, mainly ex silver mines, which could use this as a way of attracting tourists.
I’ll be on the lookout for the GR-34 post! Want to hear a bit about gear and packing and in general about the experience!
Thanks for reading Patricio! I didn't get too much into the wine side of things, but that's also a huge draw in Nova Scotia. When you visit Canada, that will be part of the itinerary!!
And cool to know about Honduras, I wonder if Geoparks are a conversation there. I don't think Honduras has any yet.
Will definitely talk about gear and packing light for the GR-34. May need a full post on packing lists eventually through!

Thank you for sharing! For sure, I know wine isn’t the only exciting aspect of the area! For sure, hopefully I can visit someday soon!
Hmm I doubt it, tourism has been neglected a lot in the past couple years.
Nice, will be waiting for it! For sure, that’s always an essential element of that type of travels.
